For the curious, I have a japanese journal here. I've only started slowlyy writing entries (very incorrect ones, notice all the corrections at the bottom?), but at least I'm practicing my japanese for the summer (well, this and going to Japan)

| Career prep in the library has been interesting so far =]
I discovered that librarians really do need master degrees
(what the heck?!) and all sorts of interesting information about how
organized the library is (they have all these diagrams on where to put
book on the trolley, so it's easier to shelve and stuff like that).
For my breaks/lunch break, I go into Oakridge Mall and look around. Not
much to buy, cause I'm so poor right now =[ Working at the information
desk is the most interesting, the librarian there tells you about the
people who come in (some of the people rush rush
madly in as soon as the library opens for the computers/newspapers
o___O"). While I was job shadowing her (Dana, the librarian at the
information desk), this little girl was staring at me. Not just
staring, but chewing on her pigtail. I stared back at her, and she was
cute.. but chewing on her pigtail? o___O" She would stuff parts of it
on into her mouth and chew on it, then take it out and chew on other
parts..
I saw a teacher from Magee (Mr. Chan? The new asian guy who subs for
the science teachers) and.. Kassie D: THE HORROR, she wouldn't leave me
alone for the first 5 minutes and I thought that Dana would get mad but
she just asked me if I wanted to hide in the backrooms until Kassie
disappeared XD
Somehow I miss going to school (NOOO, MY PERFECT ATTENDANCE GONE~ The
teachers are supposed to not mark me as absent, but I doubt they'll
remember. D:) because I start work at 9ish and have that 1/2 hour in
the not-open mall where I just sit there doing nothing -_________-"
